Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an Embedded Software Verification Engineer to be responsible for the verification and validation of Fly-By-Wire software adhering to DO-178 standards. The role involves designing and reviewing requirement-based tests, assisting in the development of certifiable flight automation technologies, and supporting software and verification checklist activities for FAA audits.

Responsibilities

• Write and review requirement-based test cases and procedures
• Perform unit tests and debug software
• Create software verification solutions using LDRA, C/C++, Python
• Support low level software testing using LDRA, C/C++, Python
• Support software and verification checklist activities for SOI audits

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering
• 5 - 10 years of professional working experience
• Strong coding experience in Python or C/C++
• Verification testing experience on LDRA and/or C/C++
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in software requirement development and requirement-based test development
