ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Mt. Laurel, NJ office, supporting power generation and heavy industrial projects. The role involves providing mechanical system design expertise across all project phases, contributing to projects like power plants and plant retrofit programs across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations for equipment and piping systems
• Contribute to engineering drawing creation and review
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation
• Develop material take-offs and work-hour estimates
• Apply engineering judgment to resolve technical challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for power generation systems
• Strong communication skills
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Proficient in computer-based analysis and design tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
