Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to provide technical expertise on power generation and heavy industrial projects, leading the development of structural calculations, foundations, and steel designs throughout all project phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute structural design for power generation and heavy industrial projects
• Review design codes, specifications, drawings, and project documentation
• Prepare and review structural analyses, engineering reports, design studies, specifications, and construction drawings
• Deliver high-quality designs within scope, budget, and schedule
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in structural engineering and design
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the U.S.
• Proficiency with engineering software (STAAD Pro, ANSYS, Mathcad)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience performing seismic analysis for nuclear power plants
