Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Contract Specialist to analyze and manage project contracts, identify risks, ensure compliance, and support negotiations. The role involves collaboration with operational teams, client relationship management, and internal training on contract-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand projects and contractual obligations
• Identify and mitigate contractual, commercial, technical, and financial risks
• Control contract scope and obligations
• Improve contract performance through modifications and negotiations
• Support negotiations with clients and partners
• Manage client relationships and resolve disputes
• Train stakeholders on contract content and risk exposure
• Maintain compliance with CUI handling procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Scientific, or Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience as a Contract Manager, Lawyer, or Project Manager
• Experience in an international environment
• Proven track record managing complex project contracts
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of confidentiality and integrity
• US Person (citizen or permanent resident)
