Stronghold Investment Management is seeking a Vice President of Acquisitions to lead the strategic expansion of their oil and gas asset portfolio. This role requires a proven dealmaker with experience in transaction execution, commercial judgment, and operational leadership, managing a team and executing complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition lifecycle from sourcing to integration
• Structure and negotiate upstream transactions
• Manage deal modeling and underwriting
• Resolve title, surface, and legal issues
• Partner with cross-functional teams
• Develop investment committee materials
• Optimize acquisition systems and processes
• Enhance sourcing and diligence protocols
• Manage and mentor a team of buyers and analysts
• Foster a high-performance culture

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in oil and gas acquisitions
• Success executing high-volume transactions
• Deep understanding of title and contracts
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Exceptional communication skills
• High personal integrity
