Flow Traders is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to lead the development of their trading model research framework and collaborate with Quantitative Researchers to build and deploy data-driven trading strategies.
Responsibilities
Lead development and rollout of research framework
Integrate framework with production deployment platform
Partner with researchers to test hypotheses and develop trading strategies
Requirements
Master's or PhD in relevant field (ML, Statistics, Physics, CS)
8+ years of experience in MLOps, Research Engineering, or ML Research
Strong math and statistics background
Proficiency in Python (numpy, pytorch, polars, pandas, ray)
Experience with ML pipelines (preprocessing, training, deployment, monitoring)
Understanding of software development practices (Agile, version control, CI/CD)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
