Job Description

Perpay is seeking a Head of Compliance to lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of their enterprise-wide Compliance Management System (CMS). This role will focus on building inclusive financial products, ensuring regulatory integrity, and enabling responsible innovation, particularly with the Perpay Credit Card and future products. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner across various teams, driving compliance and BSA/AML efforts.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, design, and operation of Perpay’s CMS
• Serve as the internal authority on compliance and BSA/AML matters
• Build and lead a growing compliance team
• Oversee critical CMS functions
• Develop and oversee the execution of an effective BSA/AML program
• Work cross-functionally to identify risks and design compliant solutions
• Monitor the regulatory environment and implement new requirements
• Report to executive leadership and the Board on compliance trends
• Interface with external partners, including bank partners

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in compliance within financial services or fintech
• Strong knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulations
• Experience designing and implementing scalable compliance and AML processes
• Ability to balance regulatory requirements with business innovation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Pragmatic, proactive approach to compliance
