Job Description

Perpay is seeking a Data Science Intern for the summer of 2026 to learn and gain real-world experience. The intern will leverage data sets to research, build features, train models, and communicate solutions to drive company growth, while also contributing to the long-term roadmap for Data Science.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and build features to train models
• Apply knowledge of modeling, statistical methodologies, and exploratory data analysis
• Partner with business leaders
• Communicate solutions designed to drive company growth
• Identify opportunities to contribute to the long-term roadmap for Data Science

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
• Expected graduation between winter 2026 – summer 2027
• Knowledge of machine learning and statistical research
• Experience using SQL for acquiring and transforming data
• Proficient in programming, analysis and visualization using Python
