Job Description

Perpay is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive data science initiatives, support product development, and help shape the future of the data science team. The role involves applying machine learning expertise, conducting exploratory data analysis, deploying and maintaining models, and communicating results to various audiences. This is an onsite position in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end completion of data science initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve Perpay’s business model
• Deliver scalable models and algorithms
• Deploy and maintain real-time model inference resources
• Maintain machine learning pipelines
• Contribute to the adoption of AI/LLM models
• Present results to various audiences
• Define standards and best practices for the Data Science team
• Act as a mentor to peers

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience applying machine learning techniques
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and visualization
• 5+ years of experience deploying and maintaining real-time software
• 5+ years of experience with Cloud compute infrastructure
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong business acumen
• Project management capabilities
• Advanced proficiency in Python and data science stack
