Job Description

Perpay is seeking an experienced and owner-minded Senior Software Engineer to lead large-scale projects, provide guidance to junior engineers, and contribute to their culture of technical excellence. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders to build and improve financial products, leveraging a tech stack including Javascript, React, Python, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of large scale features
• Develop technical requirements
• Solve problems across interconnected systems
• Make data-driven decisions
• Execute full lifecycle of new features
• Improve software build, test, and delivery processes
• Collaborate on design and implementation of new credit products

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building applications at scale
• 2+ years of experience with web frameworks
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks
• 2+ years of experience leading technical teams
• Experience with consumer-facing products
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and/or Kubernetes
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven history of cross-functional collaboration
• Strong curiosity in industry trends
• Ability to design, analyze, and debug distributed systems
