Job Description

Perpay is seeking a Merchandising Intern to gain real work experience with their merchandising team. The intern will work on projects impacting customers, focusing on demand/sales generation and product margin management, while also experiencing assortment management, vendor communications, and cross-functional relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the merchandising team on projects
• Assist with product assortment refinement
• Contribute to consumer engagement through new SKU additions
• Support strategic product placement
• Assist with cost negotiations
• Help establish retail pricing strategies
• Build relationships with vendors
• Meet with business owners for professional development

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s/Master’s program
• Expected graduation between winter 2026 – summer 2027
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Good time management
• Critical thinking skills
• Prior retail experience preferred
