Job Description

The Procurement Specialist will support the Supplier Management and Procurement Program, managing an efficient and effective supplier management operation for the procurement of products and services. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, leading sourcing projects, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operational procurement process
• Manage procurement system workflow
• Process purchase orders and contract documentation
• Monitor and report on key operational metrics
• Lead sourcing projects for assigned categories
• Manage RFx process
• Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers
• Develop and manage supplier relationships

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical abilities
• Proficiency with procurement software (Zip and Netsuite) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Understanding of contract law and supplier performance management
