Job Description

Heartflow is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Automation Engineer to automate, scale, and secure their core hybrid cloud, on-premise, and endpoint infrastructure. This role focuses on developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines, evolving their private cloud, and ensuring the stability and performance of foundational systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and evolution of Private/Hybrid Cloud infrastructure
• Provide expertise in public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Manage and optimize DNS
• Secure and maintain file share infrastructure
• Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions
• Develop and manage IaC using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Pulumi
• Write and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python
• Implement and enforce security hardening standards
• Operate within a regulated environment adhering to change management
• Provide foundational Network knowledge

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Automation, and DevOps
• Expert proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash
• Proven experience with IaC tools (Terraform or Ansible)
• Deep expertise in managing Hybrid Cloud infrastructure (VMware, Nutanix)
• Understanding of automation and core infrastructure supporting SaaS applications
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to work on projects requiring planning, research, and testing
