Job Description

This role serves as the primary expert on coding, billing, and access for Heartflow's FFRct Analysis and other services, ensuring financial success for hospital and clinic partners while aligning with the internal Sales Team. The position is remote with up to 30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Act as reimbursement expert for the field team
• Collaborate with Sales to identify facilities needing reimbursement support
• Educate Sales Team on coding updates and reimbursement trends
• Serve as primary consultant for customer billing and administrative staff
• Support customers throughout the reimbursement cycle
• Conduct claim reviews
• Address patient coverage and reimbursement questions
• Develop educational materials on coding, billing, and compliance
• Maintain understanding of Heartflow policies and industry trends

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in coding and billing
• Expert knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to interpret policies and medical necessity language
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Commitment to ethical business practices
• Associates Degree in related field
• CPC or COC preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
