Job Description

This position supports the virtualization of mission-critical applications for the National Security Enterprise Services team. The role involves optimizing performance for VDI and thick client environments, ensuring resilience through virtualization strategies, and empowering mission operations with agile, secure, and future-ready systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop virtualized packages for mission applications
• Collaborate with testers and SMEs to validate application behavior
• Incorporate sequencing changes and refine workflows
• Configure user application settings for VDI environments
• Identify automation opportunities in application sequencing
• Assist with application delivery infrastructure configuration
• Enhance backup and disaster recovery processes
• Produce technical deliverables
• Troubleshoot and optimize using VMware SDDC products
• Apply security patches and software updates
• Maintain knowledge of virtualization products
• Manage time and meet deadlines
• Deliver technical communication
• Resolve incidents and fulfill software requests

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience with Systems Administration/Virtualization
• 8140.01M IAT Level II certification
• 3+ years of experience with VDI technologies (VMware Horizon, Citrix, Microsoft RDS)
• 2+ years of experience with Citrix XenApp or comparable application virtualization technology
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• US Citizenship
