Job Description

INflow Federal is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a technically advanced defense environment. The role involves designing, securing, and managing mission-critical systems, including Linux environments and authentication domains, while ensuring cybersecurity compliance and seamless system performance.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and administer Linux servers
• Design and implement scalable workgroup networks
• Manage centralized authentication services
• Engineer and maintain systems administration solutions
• Monitor, log, and analyze system performance
• Deploy software patches and updates
• Create and modify automation scripts
• Support continuous improvement efforts
• Collaborate across technical teams
• Harden systems to ICD-503 standards

Requirements

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration (5 years)
• Scripting proficiency in Shell, Perl, PowerCLI, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with DNS, LDAP, and cross-platform authentication systems
• Experience managing system updates via YUM/DNF and Red Hat Satellite
• Background working with Ansible modules and Trellix Anti-Virus
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity tools
• Familiarity with VMWare and virtualization concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Security+ Certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
• Active DoD TS/SCI (ability to obtain CI poly)
