Job Description

The Equipment Specialist supports production process improvements and manufacturing efficiency, working with manufacturing and equipment engineering teams to reduce downtime and improve quality. This role provides first-tier engineering support for production, aiming to accelerate the timeline to SPARC.

Responsibilities

• Implement continuous improvement projects
• Develop and qualify new manufacturing techniques
• Document and troubleshoot manufacturing downtime
• Design and commission electromechanical equipment
• Write and update process work instructions
• Resolve nonconformances and production blockers
• Perform R&D and prototype builds
• Execute rapid prototyping
• Address robot limit issues
• Determine root cause for failures

Requirements

• 5+ years’ technical experience (mechanical/electrical assembly)
• 2+ years’ manufacturing experience
• Proficiency with hand tools
• Electro-mechanical system troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to identify and communicate process improvements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
