Job Description

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality. This role requires collaboration with various teams and a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes
• Develop and maintain process documentation
• Collaborate with design teams for manufacturability
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Design and procure tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
• Conduct time and motion studies
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field
• 2+ years of manufacturing/production engineering experience
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Proficiency in CAD software and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
