Job Description

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality. This role involves collaboration with various teams and focuses on continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes
• Develop and maintain process documentation
• Collaborate with design teams for manufacturability
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Design and procure tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
• Conduct time and motion studies
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field
• 2+ years of manufacturing/production engineering experience
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Proficiency in CAD software and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
