Job Description

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality across the production line. This role requires collaboration with various teams and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes
• Develop and maintain process documentation
• Collaborate with design teams for manufacturability
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Design and procure tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
• Conduct time and motion studies
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Proficient in CAD software and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
