Job Description

The Project Controls Specialist is a critical role focused on ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This position involves developing and managing project controls, including scheduling, cost control, and risk management, working with technical project managers and stakeholders to analyze project performance and adhere to established processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements
• Analyze project scope and identify risks
• Establish and maintain project cost baselines
• Track project costs and implement cost control measures
• Develop and maintain risk registers
• Prepare regular project status reports
• Communicate project status to stakeholders
• Continuously improve scheduling and cost processes

Requirements

• Relevant degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in scheduling and cost control
• Hands-on experience in infrastructure, aerospace, manufacturing, or similar projects
• Strong understanding of project management principles
• Proficiency in scheduling software
• Experience with cost management and financial analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
