Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a results-driven Senior Technical Project Manager to join their Superconducting R&D team in Milpitas, CA. The role involves driving engineering projects from inception to completion, managing budgets and schedules, leading cross-functional teams, and mitigating risks to deliver commercially viable fusion power plants.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering projects from inception to completion
• Set project milestones and ensure deliverables are met
• Develop comprehensive project plans
• Lead cross-functional teams
• Manage budget and schedule
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in engineering and project management
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Understanding of project management methods
• Experience with engineering product lifecycle
• Self-motivation and accountability
