Job Description

Turquoise Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Operations to lead engineering efforts ensuring system availability, performance, and security. This role involves building and leading a team focused on monitoring, scaling, and improving infrastructure, while also enhancing incident response capabilities to meet SLAs and deliver a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and manage a team of platform engineers
• Define and execute a strategic roadmap for platform operations
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and resources
• Expand monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities
• Establish and improve incident management processes
• Set and track SLOs and SLAs
• Partner with cross-functional teams to refine support processes
• Introduce best practices in automation and platform efficiency
• Provide support for engineering-wide initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years in platform engineering, site reliability, or related fields
• 2+ years managing engineers
• Proven expertise in incident response leadership and on-call management
• Strong experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS) and platform services
• Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions
