Runway is seeking a Staff Product Engineer to build cutting-edge, AI-powered video creation and collaboration tools. The ideal candidate is a curiosity-driven engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working on a wide variety of challenges, including developing new interfaces for AI content creation and deploying computer vision and generative models.

Responsibilities

• Create rich multimedia interfaces using AI video generation models
• Work with an engineering team on creativity and content creation
• Implement new product features for machine learning based generative AI tools
• Improve performance, reliability, and code quality

Requirements

• 3-6 years of industry experience in software engineering, ideally frontend focused
• Fluency in one or more programming languages, including JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience in architecting production-ready systems
• Ability to rapidly prototype solutions
• Humility and open mindedness
