Job Description

PitchBook is seeking an Account Development Manager (ADM) for Direct Data to sell API and data feed solutions to clients in banking, investing, and advisory industries. The role involves consulting with clients, collaborating with sales engineers, and driving innovation to deepen commercial relationships and maximize customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to determine suitability of data feed and API solutions
  • Partner with Account Management and Customer Success teams to sell solutions
  • Explore opportunities to deepen commercial relationships
  • Manage sales opportunities and accurately forecast pipeline
  • Drive innovation to serve customers and sell products
  • Advance knowledge of customer’s business
  • Support company vision and values
  • Participate in company initiatives

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in business development or customer success
  • Experience with customer-facing data feed and API solutions
  • Experience in a cross-functional account management organization
  • Willingness to learn database concepts
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Social and technical skills with executive-level relationship building
  • Experience selling to banking, GP, LP, and corporate customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Authorized to work in the United States
