Job Description

The Account Manager manages PitchBook’s core customer relationships, focusing on expansion, renewals, and customer satisfaction. They build sales strategies, identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, and establish lasting relationships with key decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and retention goals
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients
  • Identify growth opportunities
  • Develop long-term strategy for client engagement
  • Conduct client demonstrations
  • Collaborate with Customer Success teams
  • Manage pipeline and sales cycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of sales or account management experience
  • Proven ability to close complex deals
  • Experience with CRM systems (Catalyst, Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Interest in private equity and venture capital
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Authorized to work in the United States
