PitchBook is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead their MLOps team, enabling Machine Learning teams by providing tools and optimizing the Machine Learning Development Life Cycle. This role will drive AI innovations across the organization, focusing on areas like Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and more, while fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead MLOps team execution
• Ensure effective team communication
• Champion ML best practices
• Remove roadblocks and improve processes
• Bridge business/product needs with execution
• Deliver MLOps roadmap items on time
• Discover new AI tools and technologies
• Communicate technical content to various audiences
• Drive a culture of belonging and psychological safety
• Apply agile principles to team efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in related field
• 3+ years of engineering leadership experience
• 6+ years of ML algorithm development experience
• 6+ years of ML service deployment experience
• 6+ years of MLDLC support experience
• 6+ years of AWS/GCP experience
• Experience with PyTorch, Tensorflow, LangChain, etc.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Proficiency in GitOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in Python
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
