Job Description

PitchBook is seeking a Legal Counsel to support a rapidly growing company by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, and providing legal guidance on various matters affecting worldwide operations. The role requires strong communication, drafting skills, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate data licenses and commercial contracts
• Review and negotiate vendor contracts
• Advise on information security, privacy, and related issues
• Provide guidance to business teams balancing objectives and legal risk
• Advise on industry, commercial, IP, privacy, and employment laws
• Support litigation, real estate, M&A, and corporate restructuring
• Support company vision and values
• Participate in company initiatives

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree
• 2-5 years of experience advising corporate clients
• Proven drafting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
