PitchBook is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to deliver AI-powered features extracting insights from data. The role involves designing, building, and optimizing ML solutions, focusing on NLP, GenAI, LLMs, and scalable data systems. Collaboration with engineers, data scientists, and product managers is key to aligning work with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI/ML capabilities for insight generation
• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models focusing on NLP
• Contribute to technical excellence through knowledge sharing
• Build and optimize models leveraging transformers and LLMs
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams
• Explore emerging technologies in GenAI and NLP
• Contribute to model transparency, monitoring, and compliance
• Participate in technical evaluations and onboarding
• Apply Agile methodologies
• Support company vision and values

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience in software or machine learning engineering
• Expertise in NLP and machine learning
• Experience with classifiers, transformer models, and LLMs
• Production-grade GenAI/LLM system delivery experience
• Familiarity with LangChain ecosystem is a plus
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with cloud-native development and containerization
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Authorized to work in the United States
