Job Description

The Sr. Reporter for Leveraged Commentary & Data (LCD) will track loan issuance and trends in the private credit/direct lending/middle market loan space, reporting on deals and producing analytical pieces. This role requires cultivating market sources and contributing to various news and analytical content.

Responsibilities

• Produce real-time stories on private credit financing
• Follow market trends and industry developments
• Produce in-depth analytical pieces
• Cultivate and maintain market sources
• Contribute to webinars, videos, and Q&As
• Represent PitchBook LCD in thought leadership
• Support company vision and values
• Participate in company initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of experience covering financial markets
• Experience in leveraged finance, debt, or structured finance preferred
• Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with credit and corporate debt markets
• Ability to work under deadlines
• Teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• US work authorization
