Job Description

ParetoHealth is seeking an Underwriting Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience in underwriting, risk assessment, plan design, and data analytics. The intern will contribute to impactful projects, develop technical and project management skills, and support the Underwriting team's capabilities. This internship is designed for students pursuing degrees in related fields who are eager to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building the team’s operational strength
• Assist in developing and maintaining tools and workflows
• Help develop reports and presentations
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at strengthening the Underwriting team

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Ability to work in Philadelphia, PA from June through August
• Must be a Junior or Senior attending an accredited College or University
• Strong Communication skills
• Strong understanding of data analytics principles
• Proficiency in Excel
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Interest in Project Management
• Strong analytical mindset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
