Job Description

Drivetrain is seeking a Frontend Engineer to collaborate with designers, product owners, and other engineers to implement user interfaces for their financial planning platform. The role involves creating elegant, accessible, and responsive interfaces, building reusable components, and addressing performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Create elegant, accessible, responsive, and interactive interfaces
• Handcraft UI/UX designs into prototypes
• Write reusable components
• Address performance issues
• Develop frontend components like data visualization systems
• Help set up processes for engineering team success

Requirements

• 1-3 years of web/UI/JavaScript/frontend engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of Javascript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong eye for design and debugging skills
• ReactJS and Data structure skills
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performant code
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Java and AWS experience is a plus
