Job Description

The Footwear Merchandise Planning Costing Manager is responsible for managing and evolving Brooks’ Footwear Margin Strategy. This role involves creating and maintaining margin and planning tools, analyzing historical margin performance, developing seasonal product target FOBs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of the Footwear 5-Year Go-In Margin Report
  • Own seasonal execution of Go-In Margin Reports
  • Set seasonal target FOBs and margin goals
  • Conduct competitive margin and costing analysis
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators
  • Develop business performance reports
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing
  • Collaborate with Asia Costing leadership
  • Lead analyses on FOB discrepancies
  • Create and manage seasonal FOB KPI tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Finance, Product Costing, or Strategic Planning
  • Strong knowledge of the Footwear Business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Demonstrated initiative in process improvement
