Job Description

The Temporary IP Paralegal will maintain a global trademark portfolio, communicate with leaders regarding trademark strategy, and direct outside counsel to execute that strategy. This role involves managing trademark applications, renewals, oppositions, and clearances, as well as assisting with trademark conflicts and providing support to marketing and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute trademark strategy
• Oversee trademark clearance
• Manage trademark recordals
• Assist with trademark oppositions
• Manage evidence of use
• Manage trademark conflicts
• Review watch notices
• Support counterfeit fighting
• Review marketing assets
• Draft terms and conditions
• Research product issues
• Coordinate product collaborations
• Provide project management
• Compile reports
• Support docketing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Paralegal Certificate a plus
• 3+ years of law firm or inhouse IP experience
