Job Description

Aircall is seeking a Senior Backend & AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered features. The role involves building practical applications like chatbots and virtual assistants, fine-tuning LLMs, and contributing to the improvement of code quality and system performance. This position requires strong AI experience and a focus on security and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on requirements analysis
• Propose innovative AI solutions
• Design and deliver AI-driven modules
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Improve code quality through refactoring and debugging
• Build secure, high-quality AI solutions
• Optimize product and platform performance
• Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of LLMs and hands-on experience building with them
• Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen)
• 5+ years of back-end development experience (Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java)
• Focus on security, scalability, availability, and performance
• Full-stack development experience is a plus
• AWS experience is a plus
• Strong security mindset
