Job Description

Rover is seeking a Director to lead their end-to-end pet parent lifecycle marketing strategy, focusing on messaging across acquisition, engagement, and retention stages. The role involves team leadership, data strategy, campaign execution, and collaboration with various stakeholders to drive booking goals for global businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Define lifecycle strategy
  • Lead messaging strategy across owned channels
  • Optimize content across customer journey
  • Collaborate on data strategy and deployment
  • Serve as audience expert
  • Advise on customer experience optimization
  • Develop learning agendas and experiments
  • Monitor performance and provide updates
  • Create business briefs for new strategy needs
  • Develop customer journey maps
  • Liaison for marketing product GTM plans
  • Partner with operations for campaign execution
  • Performance manage and develop a team
  • Stay informed about industry trends
  • Manage and track OKRs

Requirements

  • 7+ years Lifecycle/CRM experience
  • 4+ years people management experience
  • Proven success in lifecycle marketing strategies
  • Experience building models and working with business targets
  • Proficient in email/push/web/in-app campaign management
  • Experience with ESPs (Iterable preferred)
  • Customer-focused with journey mapping experience
  • Prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Strong strategic and partnership skills
  • Experience tracking and analyzing campaigns
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented and self-starter
  • College degree or equivalent experience
