Job Description

Rover is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to identify, evaluate, and execute new opportunities for customer growth through partnerships. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and collaboration with various teams to build and optimize Rover’s partnerships domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and building relationships with potential partners
  • Conducting market sizing and financial modeling
  • Prioritizing partnership opportunities
  • Negotiating and closing partnership agreements
  • Optimizing existing partnerships
  • Collaborating with product teams on integrations
  • Working with analytics to establish KPIs and monitor results
  • Nurturing long-term partner relationships
  • Influencing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Developing clear communication briefs and presentations
  • Exploring new revenue streams

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or corporate development
  • Proven track record of negotiating and closing partnership agreements
  • Experience managing and optimizing existing partnerships
  • Strength in financial modeling and data-driven decision making
  • Experience collaborating with product teams
  • Ability to partner with analytics teams
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative and solutions-oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or JD is a plus
