Job Description

Peerspace is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, build, and optimization of their data infrastructure. This role involves owning major components of the data ecosystem, ensuring data reliability and performance for BI, Marketing, and Data Science initiatives, and mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Owning and evolving data pipelines into BigQuery
• Architecting and implementing advanced data models using DBT
• Leading the design and implementation of integrations with Segment
• Taking ownership of complex data projects
• Guiding and mentoring other data engineers

Requirements

• 5-8 years of data engineering experience
• Deep expertise with cloud-based data warehousing, particularly BigQuery
• Advanced proficiency with DBT
• Significant experience with Segment
• Strong architectural mindset
• Collaboration and mentorship skills
• Proven ability to deliver high-impact data projects
• Ownership mindset
