Kobalt Music Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manager, Copyright to oversee a team and support copyright operations across North and Latin American collection societies. This role involves managing copyright registration, data management, and monetization, as well as collaborating with internal teams and contributing to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of 4–5 direct reports
• Manage copyright registration and data management
• Collaborate on process improvements
• Liaise with internal teams
• Monitor industry developments
• Maintain data integrity
• Support industry events

Requirements

• Extensive experience in music copyright or publishing
• Experience managing or mentoring team members
• Working knowledge of collection society operations
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Collaborative mindset
• Familiarity with rights management systems is a plus
• Comfortable with software like Monday, Tableau, and Zendesk
