Job Description

OpenEye is seeking a Director of US Sales for the West region to lead a high-performance sales team, cultivate partner relationships, and drive new business development. The ideal candidate will be an experienced solution seller with strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • Lead and develop a team of 7-8 Regional Sales Managers
  • Oversee team goal setting and revenue growth strategies
  • Demonstrate software solutions
  • Drive CRM process
  • Conduct joint sales calls
  • Manage key distribution accounts
  • Prepare sales forecasts
  • Develop sales policies and procedures
  • Approve project price variances
  • Resolve customer issues
  • Attend trade shows

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8-10+ years sales experience
  • 5+ years supervisory experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong territory management skills
  • Experience using CRM software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel overnight 75% of the time
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional presentation and reporting skills
