OpenEye is seeking a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer / Cloud Architect to take technical ownership of their large-scale, cloud-based platform. This role involves defining the technical roadmap, leading major initiatives, modernizing legacy architectures, and designing frameworks to accelerate feature development. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering leads, product managers, and operational teams to align technical vision with business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep experience with AWS cloud services
• Substantial expertise with Java and Spring Framework
• Exceptional skill in system design
• Strong experience in performance optimization
• Exposure to "big data" challenges
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
