Job Description

OpenEye is seeking a Strategic Accounts Manager to promote and sell their cloud-centric video management system to commercial channel partners in the physical security industry. This role involves building relationships with strategic dealers, generating demand with end-users, and supporting regional sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Engage strategic dealers in new business opportunities
  • Make joint sales calls to build pipeline and close business
  • Manage and develop corporate relationships
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and technology updates
  • Generate demand for channel partners
  • Support regional locations of strategic dealers
  • Attend trade shows
  • Prepare strategy and reports
  • Resolve customer issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years outside sales experience, preferably in technology
  • 5 years B2B sales experience
  • Strong territory management skills
  • Ability to travel 70-85%
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Corporate level presentation/reporting abilities
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Account development skills
  • Experience with national integration companies
