Job Description

Muon Space is seeking a motivated Early Career Electrical Hardware Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and testing of electrical hardware for next-generation spacecraft. The role involves working with experienced engineers to bring innovative satellite systems to life.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of electrical systems for spacecraft avionics
  • Participate in schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Assist in bring-up, testing, and validation of hardware
  • Collaborate with software engineers on integration and testing
  • Build and test early hardware prototypes
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams
  • Contribute to design documentation and test reports
  • Participate in design reviews

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in hardware engineering
  • Familiarity with electronic components and test equipment
  • Exposure to schematic capture and PCB layout software
  • Understanding of microcontroller basics and communication interfaces
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Desire to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for space technology
