Job Description

Muon Space is seeking a Data Platform Software Engineer to design, build, and operate a reliable, container-based platform for hosting critical data and machine learning pipelines. This role will empower science and engineering teams with scalable cloud resources and modern DevOps practices to accelerate the conversion of satellite data into actionable climate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Scale and maintain data workflow orchestration platform
• Collaborate on and improve data and ML pipelines
• Provide expert support and maintain knowledge of data platform solutions
• Collaborate with satellite and payload engineering teams to establish data requirements

Requirements

• U.S. person
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building and maintaining container orchestration software platform
• Experience using CI/CD processes and GitOps
• Experience using modern observability technologies
• Experience interacting with internal and external customers
