Job Description

Muon Space is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to design, build, activate, and maintain their next-generation spacecraft manufacturing facilities. This role involves leading infrastructure projects, overseeing operations and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with standards and codes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal technical facilities projects
• Provide technical engineering support for construction/maintenance
• Verify maintenance and coordinate repair efforts
• Resolve production facility design conflicts
• Support capital expenditure process
• Acquire building permits and ensure inspections
• Communicate building/maintenance schedules
• Ensure reliability of installations
• Respond to facility emergencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience with MEP and HVAC systems
• Experience in engineering, procurement, and construction processes
• Experience with electrical and power distribution systems
• Experience with critical power infrastructure
• Experience with plumbing design and operation
• Knowledge of HVAC operation and design principles
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
• Attention to detail
