Job Description

Muon is seeking a Testbed Hardware Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing, implementing, and scaling Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) avionics test platforms for satellite programs, requiring an interdisciplinary approach and strong hardware execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement HITL testbed hardware
• Collaborate with domain experts to determine hardware needs
• Translate avionics design into testbed hardware designs
• Synthesize and document testbed execution plans
• Generate and maintain testbed architecture diagrams
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for testbed inventory
• Advance testbed hardware through lifecycle phases

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with complex electromechanical systems
• Experience with Harness CAD tools and assembly
• Experience with PCBA assembly and rework
• Experience with light manufacturing and electrical test tools
• Hands-on debugging experience
• Excellent communication skills
