Job Description

AnaVation is seeking a mid-level ISSO to provide security compliance expertise on high priority projects for a mission critical customer in Washington, DC. The ISSO will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and assessing Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A) packages, ensuring systems are accredited, and performing risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SA&A packages
• Create and maintain SSPs and supporting documentation
• Develop and coordinate Incident Response and Contingency Plans
• Ensure systems maintain ATO and continuous monitoring
• Perform risk assessments
• Conduct security control assessments
• Track POA&Ms
• Conduct vulnerability management
• Review government policy
• Improve security processes and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years’ experience with NIST, FISMA, and SA&A
• Knowledge of NIST publications (SP 800-53r5, SP 800-53A, SP 800-18r1)
• Knowledge of information security principles
• Experience conducting risk assessments
• Proficiency in security tools (firewalls, IDS, SIEM)
• Knowledge of incident response procedures
• Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain CI Poly
• On-site availability 5 days a week
