Job Description

AnaVation is seeking a motivated Junior Full Stack Developer with a strong interest in data engineering to design, develop, and maintain data-driven applications, dashboards, and visual interfaces. The role involves collaborating with data analysts, engineers, and product teams to present data effectively and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations
• Build and maintain backend data services and APIs using Python and SQL
• Analyze and process structured and unstructured data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Participate in Agile development cycles
• Assist in implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to containerized environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in software development or data-focused roles
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools (Metabase, Elasticsearch, etc.)
• Experience with front-end visualization frameworks (Plotly, Dash, React, Tableau)
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience with shell scripting
• Strong technical and computational skills
• Top Secret clearance or High Risk Public Trust Suitability
