AnaVation is seeking a Sr. Security Specialist to provide security expertise on high priority projects for a mission critical customer in Washington, DC. The role involves risk assessment, system accreditation, security compliance, and improving the security posture of the agency’s IT systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments
• Evaluate system infrastructure
• Develop SA&A packages
• Maintain SSPs
• Develop Incident Response Plans
• Ensure systems are accredited
• Review vulnerability scan data
• Improve security processes
• Provide customer support for security compliance

Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience with NIST, FISMA, and Security Assessment & Authorization
• FedRAMP and Cloud experience
• Knowledge of NIST publications
• In-depth knowledge of the Risk Management Framework
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• CISSP required
