Job Description

The Information Assurance/Security Engineer will provide security engineering and information assurance support to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Connect (ATC) for mission applications and services. This role involves designing, developing, monitoring, and documenting security controls, testing, reporting, and POA&Ms throughout system lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Provide security engineering and information assurance support
• Design, develop, monitor, and document security controls
• Perform security testing and reporting
• Manage POA&Ms
• Provide security design inputs and reviews
• Configure and validate secure systems
• Maintain XACTA security records

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 5-7 years of Cyber Security/Operations support (or 3+ with Master's)
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, Security+)
• Knowledge of ICD 503, FISMA, NIST, and DoD security regulations
• Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and ATO processes
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
